Jane Underhill - Owner and Director
My name is Jane and I founded Praxis in Montreal in 2003.
After several meaningful years working to grow STOTT PILATES Education at its corporate head office in Toronto, I realized what I wanted most was to bring STOTT PILATES to the city I loved most. In August 2003, Praxis was founded in Montreal with a mission to bring the safest and most effective method of pilates to clients and students.
Now, almost 9 years later, Praxis is thriving. My team and I devote each day to welcoming people from all walks of life into what we hope is a refreshing, inspiring and comfortable environment.

She completed her continuing education at Kine-Concept Institute, learning Trigger Points, Deep Tissue, Cranio-Sacral and Fasciatherapy. She then went on to CERA Osteopathy Center where she studied Osteodynamie™, graduating in October 2009. Brigitte takes a global approach to teaching pilates; one that incorporates both mind and body as a cohesive unit. Among her clients, she is renowned for her compassion, encouragement and attention to detail. With her support, clients are able to push beyond their insecurity and surpass their perceived limitations.

Rachel Santos - Instructor
Rachel has been dancing and performing since the age of five. In 2003, she graduated from San José State University in California with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Dance with a minor in Musical Theatre. It was through a friend and fellow SJSU Dance graduate that Rachel took her first Stott Pilates class. She loved the way she felt after that classbecause of the way the exercises toned and lengthened her.
Already teaching some similar ideas and principles about posture and lengthening to her dance students in Montreal, she knew she had to make Stott Pilates part ofher repertoire and she earned her Matwork certification (levels 1 & 2). She loves the feedback she gets from clients after a session about how they feel taller and less stressed. Rachel wants to provide her clients of all abilities an environment in which they can have fun while working toward their fitness goals with Pilates.

Alexandrina Delage - Instructor
Alexandrina holds a Bachelor of Commerce and a Graduate Diploma in Management Consulting and has accumulated over 20 years' experience as a corporate trainer and professional/personal coach. In 2007, Alexandrina began integrating these various modalities to create reality-based, meditation and stress management programs for corporate clients. In 2008 she obtained STOTT PILATES Matwork and Injuries and Special Populations certification, and since this time, has been offering fusion classes from the most relaxed and meditative, to the most physically challenging and intense.
