YOGA

 

Alexandrina Delage joins Praxis as our resident yogi. Her classes on Fridays from 10h-11h will include poses for stretching and alignment with a strong emphasis on techniques for stress management, relaxation and meditation. As with all classes at Praxis, our yoga program adheres to modern biomechanic principles, avoiding contra-indicated movements. Cuing and correction will happen on an as-needed basis, allowing participants to focus deeplyin their own body-work. More classes will be added to the schedule as we learn our clients preferences.

At a workshop I was giving a few months ago, a woman suddenly blurts out, “Can someone tell me how to get everything done when I want to be perfect at everything?” 

 

Can you relate to this woman?  Almost 40% of women, according to research, are perfectionists.  Because of our nature we want to be everything to everyone.

 

What would it feel like to cut yourself a little slack – not have to be perfect?

 

I know many women in mid-life who wake up one morning and say to themselves, “There’s got to be something more”.  At Audacious Living with work with women just like you who are looking for “something more” and don’t know where to find it.
